  1. When Adam was in that crowd of people looking for Nick and Jankin,(p.g 200-202) how do you think he felt?(It could be many emotions at once)

    1. I think Adam felt very eager to find his dog, as well as a little bit angry. He was probably feeling very tired from travelling so much in the past few days.

    2. I think Adam had a new hope in him. I think he was expecting Rodger and Nick to be there because that is where all mistrals go.

    3. I think he could have been scared and wanted to leave but also wanted to find Jankin and roger and nick.

  2. On Page 194, a man exclaimed, “I haven’t a corner for the boy.”
What do you think this means?

    1. I think the man meant that there was absolutely no space in the inn left for him to sleep. As a result, he had to sleep in the Strangers' Hall.

    2. I agree with Petra. I think it meant that he didn't even have a small spot for the Adam to sleep.

    3. I also agree with Petra that there was not bed or a room for Adam to have for his self.

  3. Did you find the play about Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden interesting? What aspects of the play caught your attention?

    1. I didn't really find it interesting because I've heard that story many times and I knew what was going to happen next.

    2. I agree with Megan, I didn’t really think about it very much and wasn’t entertained.

  4. When you read 'at this culmination of realism, Adam Quartermayne fell off the wall', what was your immediate reaction? What thoughts came to mind as you read this?

    1. I wasn't that surprised because I predicted he was going to fall off the wall. I accidentally looked at the picture and saw Adam in a sort of hospital.

    2. I thought I think he probably broke something. And I felt bad for him.

    3. I was very confused, but I felt bad for Adam, that must have hurt!

  5. Did you think Rodger and Nick would be at the Strangers' Hall? Why or why not?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I didn't think Roger or Nick would be at the Strangers' Hall because Roger's a minstrel, he likely had a fair bit of money and would stay at the inn instead.

    2. I don't think they would be at the Strangers' Hall because I think they would have found them too early in the book. I think the author has something better for the reuniting of Adam, Roger, and Nick.

    3. I didn’t think so as well, because I don’t think Adam would find them this quickly. I’m guessing it’s going to take a lot longer for Adam to find them.

  7. Do you think Rodger is at the fair? What clues gave you that idea?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I think Roger is at St. Giles Fair because he would probably expect Adam to go there. However, there are so many people at the fair that it would be hard to find one specific person.

    2. I don't think that he is at the fair because Adam would have maybe would have found him already and he did not so I don't think he is at the fair.

    3. I think he will be, but Adam won’t see him because he’ll be going somewhere else.

  8. why do you think Adam will find Roger? Also who do you think will find who first?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I think that Adam will find Roger because they run into each other on the road. I also feel like Adam will find Nick and Jankin before he finds Roger.

      Delete
    2. I think Adam will find Roger because he is very determined to be reunited together. I think Roger will find Adam first. Or maybe Nick will run away from Jankin and find Adam.

      Delete
    3. I think he’ll find a Roger because(like Felicia said) he has a lot of determination and has no signs of giving up any time soon.

  9. Do you think that Daun William will stay with Adam and his family forever? Why or why not?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I don't think that Daun William will stay with Adam and his family forever because I'm pretty sure he has other things to do. He probably felt bad for Adam and expected him to find Roger in a few days' time.

  10. Why do you think the author chose the story of Adam and Eve? What makes it important? Explain.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I think the author chose the story of Adam and Eve because they wanted to choose a story that would catch people's attention. What makes it important is the fact that it was the story when humans first sinned; Adam and Eve's actions would change the future.
